discussing issues which are necessary to be talked about is as much part of a fandom as anything else and has nothing to do with fighting

the idea of a fandom is that you are more than a passive consumer who accepts things mindlessly

Actually (and without going into personal lifestyle and preferences), fandoms and a slightly hipster mentality ARE the driving force of Tumblr (along with social issues blogging). If Yahoo makes changes that would make “fandom” people feel less welcomed then it might be the end of Tumblr as we know it because they will just migrate elsewhere.

I understand this isn’t that the message is saying (and I basically agree with it - whining against Facebookers makes no sense and it only exposes clique and elitist mentality I dislike), but this is an issue worth noting.

That means no more porn on Tumblr.

This will be the end of Tumblr, then.
